The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
